Technology and psychology are two of my grand fascinations in life, the culmination of a long search for answers, methods for attaining answers, and minds to understand the questions along with their answers. Existence culminates in gross and subtle patterns. Wisdom is in their understanding, power is in their weaving, symmetry is their heaven.
Research on Indic religion with focus on Hinduism since 1995, and on Buddhism and broader oriental tradition since 2007. Practice and field research in India for six years. Worked with Sanskrit, Bengali (and later Pali) source texts since 2002. Active online publishing on related themes since 2000, featuring tons of articles and even more unpublished research.
I've worked with technology since I was 10 and got my first SVI-728 (MSX) and a pile of books on BASIC programming. Over the years, I've worked plenty with coding and graphic design, primarily with custom applications — eCommerce to media libraries, content management systems, community solutions, text repositories, language analysis, and more. Currently working with the Wiccle platform, a flexible Web 2.0framework and application suite with focus on logical and intuitive user interfaces.
In an earlier incarnation, with an account now long gone and buried, I worked a bunch on themes related to Hinduism and Indic religions both in English and in Finnish. At present I generally to limit myself to occasional corrections, as I find the recurring and tedious edit wars wasting an abundance of time and energy that could be put to a more productive use.
