This is a place where users can communicate with administrators, or administrators with one another. You can report vandalism, problematic users, or anything else that needs an administrator's intervention. Do not report child pornography or other potentially illegal content here; e-mail legal-reports@wikimedia.org instead. If reporting threatened harm to self or others also email emergency@wikimedia.org.

Report users for clear cases of vandalism. Block requests for any other reason should be reported to the blocks and protections noticeboard.


Report disputes with users that require administrator assistance. Further steps are listed at resolve disputes.


Reports that do not suit the vandalism noticeboard may be reported here. Requests for page protection/unprotection could also be requested here.


Other reports that require administrator assistance which do not fit in any of the previous three noticeboards may be reported here. Requests for history merging or splitting should be filed at COM:HMS.

This User:Quick1984, registered 15 days ago, nominates all existing contract cases for removal. Please block this member as he is breaking the rules.

Not sure what you mean by "contract cases". The user does seem to be nominating a fair number of maps for deletion, apparently on the basis that they are derivative works that do not correctly credit their sources. At least on the surface, that is plausible. If you feel the user's nominations amount to vandalism, could you please cite 3-5 examples of edits that you think are vandalistic? - Jmabel ! talk 16:39, 3 February 2024 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Yes, for example, here is his edit in which he deletes a photo that I took personally, while the reason is completely unclear to me. Deleting a file that is distributed under a free license. Deleting a file, with a completely absurd reason, that is in the public domain. Again, it exposes photos taken by other users for deletion. I put the file it up for deletion again. He has almost every edit like this, so I ask you to block him, because he violates the rules Diniyar Khasanov (talk) 17:16, 3 February 2024 (UTC)Reply[reply]
These don't look like vandalism to me.

Don't you see that these deletions are not made for the sake of good intentions, but simply because of some personal goals? Maybe I chose those photos that are not entirely clear why they are vandalized, but I advise you to go through each file that a person has put up for deletion. He deletes not only my files, but also the files of other participants completely unreasonably. Here is the discussion. I believe that this person is making vandal edits, and should be blocked. Has there been a call for vandalism? Since one week pages in ns Translations are persistently vandalised by IPs from all over the world. Just one example (see history): Commons:Translation administrators/ms.
